Champion Stallion with a promising future in dressage and breeding
Triumphant Champion Stallion of the Mecklenburg licensing.
The significant Don Frederic is convincing due to his perfect conformation, brilliant type and basic gaits of an extraordinary quality. His exceptional engagement of hindquarters and high elasticity should be highlighted. Under saddle he makes maximum use of his natural talent and proved himself with the highest score of 9.75 for rideability from the test rider at his 30-day test in Schlieckau, 2012. Since then he has won several dressage competitions. As a result of the quality of his first foals, which have been outstanding nationwide, he was nominated for the Oldenburg main premium in 2013.
The black sire, Don Frederico, who was awarded “Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2012”, won the stallion licensing and his stallion performance test as well as numerous advanced (S) level and Prix St. Georges classes. More than 1.250 descendants are registered as show horses including the most successful one, the multiple advanced (S) level winner Diva Royal, who became 2010 European Team Champion of young riders with Stella Charlott Roth and helped to win the German team silver medal at the Olympic Games in London 2012 with Dorothee Schneider. Isabell Werth’s ingenious mover Don Johnson, who won many Grand Prix victories, is sired by Don Frederico, who has produced 37 licensed sons including the 2008 World Champion of young dressage horses, Dramatic.
The dam sire Wolkentanz I, who was trained up to Grand Prix level, was a licensing winner and Bundeschampion, produced 26 licensed sons and 41 successful advanced (S) level descendants. Don Frederic’s dam, state premium mare What A Feeling, also produced Don Frederic’s licensed full brother and premium stallion Downtown. Don Frederic originates from the highly successful Hanoverian mare line 749/Eckernförde II, which produced, as well Emma Hindle’s Olympic and World Championship stallion Lancet, the highly appreciated sires Argentan I and II, Frenchman I and II, Hochfein, Western Star and the Holstein world class sire Cantus.
