German championships 2017: Again and again, the exceptional Conthargos sires first-class show-jumping offspring.

Conthargos, the large-contoured and beautifully modelled stallion, has everything a good show jumping athlete needs: heart, capacity, amazing technique, willingness to perform and natural talent.

In 2008, Conthargos was the superior champion at the strong Dobrock competition with a score of 9.5 and effortlessly qualified for the German national championships. His progeny are clearly marked by their father, with an inspiring image: large-boned, sporty and athletic, a rideability that should be admired and an absolute willingness to perform. Up to now, Conthargos has produced several licensed sons and many show-jumping horses. His first offspring successfully debuted in show-jumping sport, frequently qualified for the national championships and for the first time in 2016, were successful at S level. The son of Conthargos, Conthacco and Bastian Freese were 2016 Oldenburg regional champions of six-year-old show-jumping horses and in 2017, Conthargos produced again with Call me Diva/Wilhelm Winkeler, the Oldenburg regional champion of six-year-olds, where Gräfin Andorra/Daniel Wolke came third. Also in 2017, Conthargos produced, with a son out of a Balou du Rouet dam, the winner of the “For-Pleasure-Ring’ at the German foal championships in Lienen and therefore the best show-jumping foal in Germany.

His sire Converter I won 22 show jumping classes up to intermediate level/M level with marks up to 9.0. He became Oldenburg regional champion in 2005, was placed at the national championships and was second best show jumping stallion at the World Championships in Lanaken. From his progeny, 36 have so far been successful at advanced level/S level. More than 350.000 Euros have been won in show jumping by descendants of Converter I. Dam sire Carthago took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996 and sired 276 advanced level/S level show jumpers, who have earned over 4,3 million euros so far. From Conthargos’ dam line, which is of French origin, come Latus I, Sandro and Colorado AA, sires exclusively from our stallion station, and the internationally successful show jumper Nike.

Conthargos: From an early age, an elite sire!
