|Cassini II||Capitol I||Capitano|
|Hera IV||Kilian v. Koenigspark xx|
A modern Holsteiner who meets the gold standard: Castino is convincing due to all attributes which make up a top show jumper; impressive is always his high level of elasticity. Already at the age of four, he won the show jumpers championship at the traditional Dobrock show and met the high expectations of his elitist pedigree. Victories and high placings up to intermediate (M) level test for young show jumpers speak for themselves; in 2011 he qualified easily for the Bundeschampionat. Already in his stallion performance test he placed 4th in the final ranking right behind Fürstenball and Bentley. There he has received a score of 10.0 each for free-jumping and in the jumping-course, 9.0 for character and willingness to perform as well as 9.58 for the jumping ability.
His sire, Cassini II, has progeny that have accumulated lifetime earnings of almost 540,000 Euro. His dam’s sire Caretino is meanwhile quadruplicate millionaire in view of his progeny and he produced top horses in series. Castino’s dam, O-Caretina, received a perfect 10.0 for free-jumping in her mare performance test. Castino’s full brother, Carino, qualified for the World Cup final, Canzero is an approved stallion with an excellent competition record in show jumping. Another full sister was Champion Mare in her field test in 2009. Castino originates from the Holsteiner line 5951, which has produced sires such as Calon, Chivas Regal, Moltke I and Quadrigo as well as numerous successful sport horses.
His first foal crops are convincing due to the sporting expression of their harmoniously built body and a maximum of elasticity. The offspring were awarded a premium in several breeding areas.
