Premium stallion Amber is another licensed son by Ampere (KWPN), a Holsteiner approved stallion within the scope of the dressage horse breeding programme. The young stallion performed impressively throughout the Neumünster stallion licensing process. Always attentive yet composed, Amber was perfectly poised. Characterized by an expressive face, he displays a well-set neck along with a short, compact top-line and good croup structure. His feet and legs are correct and in good proportion to his body. The stallion convincingly demonstrates his superior movement in hand and at liberty. The trot and canter are energetic and characterized by carrying power and impetus. The walk is ground-covering and very regular. As Amber was not allowed to undergo 30-day ability testing in spring 2014 due to his late date of birth in June, he could not be bred in 2014. He was stallion performance testet at Schlieckau at a total mark of 8.2, with his jumping aptitude graded 9.0. He finished an excellent 3rd at his first outing in competition in a young jumper class at A* level at the Elmshorn State Championship in 2015. The past season saw Amber emerge as a serial winner of young jumper classes at A and L level under Ferguson Burt. This season he was successful up to level M** under Isabell Sinnhuber and were placed at the Elmshorn State Championships at 4th place. His sire Ampere is a successful dressage horse in his own right and over the last years, major European stallion licensing sites have seen outstanding Ampere offspring. Amber’s dam, Mira, is rated one of the most valuable and successful Holsteiner dressage horse producers. Her produce includes the licensed stallion De Chirico, winner of his 2007 stallion performance test group and now shown in dressage at S level to great success. A Mira daughter by Conteur I, Annabell, won the Elmshorn 6-year-old State Dressage Championship under Helen Langehanenberg. At 8-year-old she placed 3rd in the Prix St.Georges and the intermediaire I classes at the Hagen international horse show. Amber’s first crop, a total of 16 foals, was a success all along the line and included the winning colt foal of the VTV/R+V Holsteiner foal championship in Bad Segeberg (out of a dam by Lantaan – Landgraf 1 – Lido; bred by Günther Fielmann, Schierensee) as well as two more foalchampionship contenders.
